not sure this is the right place but....
my little one had some as a treat because she had been sat in the car for four hours no problems whilst stuck in traffic.
We went to the golden arches as it was our nearest stop to stretch our legs (caught in the M4 crash tail backs).
Anyways she has the chicken nuggets happy meal and you know what?? They were QUAORN! Triead one and knew straight away by the sweet taste and texture. Hmmmm false advertisement at its best!!

Not according to McDonalds they're not.
If they are Quorn they would have to say so. Did you get a veggie meal by mistake? It wouldn't be worth their reputation to use a substitute if it says it's chicken. Reconstituted mashed-up chicken maybe, but it has to be chicken.
They are not Quorn.
McDonald's chicken nugget ingredients:

Chicken (45%), Coating [Vegetable Oil (Rapeseed, Sunflower), Wheat Flour, Water (8%), Maize Flour, Modified Starch, Raising Agents (Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Whey Powder (from Milk), Flavour Enhancer (Potassium Chloride), Egg Albumen (Free Range Egg), Ground Pepper, Breadcrumb (Wheat Flour, Salt), Salt, Dextrose, Ground Celery], Water (7%), Potato Starch, Vegetable Oil (Rapeseed, Sunflower), Natural Flavouring (from Free Range Egg), Flavour Enhancer (Potassium Chloride). Prepared in the restaurants using a non-hydrogenated vegetable oil.

nope we ordered the chicken nuggets as it was a quick pit stop, i just checked there website and it clearly states made from chicken, and free from soya.....
I don't believe for a second that Mcdonalds are selling you chicken nuggets made of Quorn.
You are mistaken firewatch.
Question Author
they did, both my husband and i triead them and he hates quaorn lol!
They might have been rank, but they won't have been quorn.
Question Author
they were very sweet tasting and if you have ever had quorn (what is the spelling of it by the way?) you will know it a mile off.
They'd cost more for a start if quorn.
Maybe they were under cooked.
I think you need to be careful making assertions like this, firewatch - especially as it seems unlikely to be true. Did you keep a sample of the offending items, so they could be analysed?
firewatch, have you read the ingredients list up there? ^
Did you keep one?
They are not quorn. Snags have given you the ingredients....
Incidentally, did you know that McDonald's milkshakes contain the blubber of Quorn-fed Blue Whales, which helps to thicken the shakes?

( allegedly ;-p )
Personally, I'd be much happier feeding Quorn to my child than mechanically recovered meat....
I thought they no longer used mechanically recovered meat?

I've never tried a MacDonalds chicken nugget...
Why does a blubber shake make me think of Jo Brand................
