I dropped a bottle of Thai Fish Sauce on my kitchen floor a few minutes ago.

It smashed and went ... well, everywhere.

And OMG ... it REALLY ponks !!!

The whole kitchen is fishy ponky.

Thank goodness Olive is in tomorrow.

Maybe I could stay out of there until then.

I think I've got it on my feet as well.

Lucky Olive!
I wish I had an Olive - you don't know how lucky you are, I'd have to clean it up myself.... (or the catz would lick it up)
Question Author
Well, I've wiped it up, but it still smell.

Olive does a sort of hot water and Flash clean thing, and the kitchen smells fab.

What I was doing with a bottle of Fish Sauce was putting some HP Sauce back in the cupboard, and I went to move the Fish Sauce and sodding dropped it.

=0(
Should have kept it in the fridge :-)
Ring Olive now, no point having a lackey if they don't clear up spillages immediately.
Is that the same Olive who had a part in On the Busses?
Question Author
Olive is not a "lackey".

Olive does a little cleaning, and I am one of her customers.
Wish I had Olive's number, JJ....ring her and tell her that her day tommorrow is going slighty pongy........think she'll take the bait?

Get it?

ok...where's me coat :0(
Question Author
Should it have been in the fridge??

I don't know how long it had been in the cupboard.
Talking of bait....think I flushed it out eventually on the other thread...missed the reply though.......whoever zapped it.......:0) x
I dropped a heavy bag of shopping on the kitchen floor when I got home and broke the floor tile. Mercifully the wine didn't break or else my night would have been ruined.
Olive in fish sauce, sounds divine.
I dropped a bottle of beer, it didn't break it exploded. It took ages to clean up. Walls, ceiling, cupboards, fridge etc. You could smell beer for weeks. I hope you have better luck with the fishy smell JJ.
you want to try putting it in the freezer overnight and forgetting about it, MM. Just a dull thud in the middle of the night, then the next morning picking fragments of glass and frozen foam out of everything.
Question Author
I might just open a window in the kitchen, and keep the door closed until Olive comes in.
