I just bought an electric steamer from argos which I'm dead chuffed about - thing is- I have virtually no imagination and past steaming broccoli and rice I've no idea what to do with it. Any good recipe ideas for steamed veg?

We've tried this one (among others)...

Ingredients:
1 cup thinly sliced carrot
2 cups chopped collard greens, stems removed
1 medium onion sliced thick
1 cup cubed zucchini (quarter lengthwise and slice about inch thick)

Dressing
extra virgin olive oil to taste
1 mediuim clove garlic pressed
1 TBS fresh lemon juice
salt and cracked black pepper to taste
*optional 1 tsp soy sauce (We like the Lite version... less salty)

Directions:
Bring lightly salted water to a boil in a steamer with a tight fitting lid. Add carrots, cover, and steam for 3 minutes. Without removing carrots add collard greens, and steam for another 3 minutes. Then add onion and zucchini and steam for another 3 minutes.

Remove from steamer and place in bowl. Toss with dressing ingredients.

Clanad - thanx for that - as luck would have it I have 2 zucchinis (we call 'em courgettes) in the fridge! Hurrah!
Any steamed veg (chopped small, so it steams quickly) on a flat bread topped with cheese and browned off under the grill, yummy!
