What's your budget, exactly? How many people? Are there any special dietary requirements? How many courses? Wine?

go to supermarket a couple of hours before closing,everything is reduced by about 65%.all meat,veg,puds.etc

dont buy way more than you need ie) thousands of nibbles and snacks

buy a turkey crown instead of a turkey

I give nothing to go on because I want idea's from a personal perspective, you may have £50 you may have less, what would YOU do on a budget.....

Well i'm having lobster, then roast rib of beef so not having a pudding oh and i only got one case of champagne and not inviting guests

No, sorry not for me personally, but I dare say that there are many people who do not have large amounts of disposable income to throw away on a Christmas dinner.....

One year we were so poor I bought 4 pigs trotters and we had those. The funny thing is after 25 years it is the one Xmas my daughter remembers and says it was the best.

Crisp-buttie (roast chicken flavour) and a glass of vimto - Very Low Budget.

Truffle-stuffed ocelot with panda-flavoured gravy and a bottle of water from the Fountain of Youth at Shangri-la - Very Big Budget.

I usually pitch it somewhere in the middle, though, if I'm honest....

I'm not overly keen on Turkey.

We are having Rib-eye steaks, this year........but recent Christmases have seen us eat Kangaroo, Ostrich and Crocodile....
