I have people coming tomorrow and was going to do pork chops in cranberry and orange sauce which is delicious. But I forgot the orange (recipe needs juice and rind of one orange)Do you think I could use a lemon instead, or has anyone any other suggestions Thanks.

Definitely not lemons.

Can you not get out to buy an orange?
have you got apple and or onion? either or both will make a lovely puree style dressing with or without the cranberries .

Perhaps incorporate some honey into the recipe.
Pork in lemon and cranberry sounds nice. You could always sweeten it, I would say soft brown sugar would be nice. Good luck
