have you ever tasted a really good haggis from a traditional artisanal butcher rather than the mass produced stuff you get in Tescos?? Some of them are truly sublime, (especially with a splash of single malt whisky) Wynne's in Fort William is probably the best I've ever had and is a real delicacy. There are some brilliant butchers in Ayrshire as well. Try it.

Liver,bacon and onion casserole!!
and not forgetting of course the traditional: Ploughman's lunch = a large slab of cheddar cheese, some nice fresh home made bread and a flagon of cider. heaven!!
The last time I had a ploughman's in a pub, I paid an arm and a leg and it was more like a huge platter with selections of everything with 20 different pickles, clearly not a ploughman's lunch, why do they have to spoil such traditional meals with all this fancy crap, it irritates the t!ts off me!!!!
