Does anyone actually like using up leftovers. I think I'm a pretty good cook but apart from a curry most things dont do much for me.

Bubble and squeak - the food of the gods. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm
I love leftovers, for lunch I found some cold cook potatoes, spinach, mushrooms and green beans in the fridge, I just chucked it in a frying pan with oil and garlic, it was blinking lovely. We have bubble a lot in this house as well.

No, not really.

The other way around is to not create leftovers - only cook what you want and will eat. Difficult if you're cooking for others, but dead easy for one.

Sorry, what are 'left overs'? I'm not familiar with the concept. Not in our house anyway.
Bubble, pie fillings packed out with other ingredients, soups sauces all sorts of things
Put left-over Sunday joint into food processor & mince. Fry an onion until soft. Put in mince & leftover gravy & 1/2pt of stock. Cube potatoes & carrots & put that in as well. Simmer for about 20mins. If you have any leftover veg chuck that in as well at the end & warm through.
I have to resurrect giveup's thread because I have just discovered the most wonderful leftover food. Last night I made roast veg (green and red peppers, shallots, sweet potato, baby corn and aubergine) with olives and feta cheese, which was delicious, but I made too much. So I eyed it suspiciously for a while today then decided to have it as a sandwich filling. It is fantastic. Strange, but true.
