Storing Part Used Lemon

I only use around three slices of a whole lemon when I make up my G & T's in the evening, so can anyone suggest the best way to store the lemon until the following evening? I'd hate it to dry up!

From the length of time this thread has been going....I would have used the remaining lemon.....then no problem lol

I have a dilemma owdhamer..................1 litre of Bombay Sapphire, 1 70cl bottle of tonic, and a netfull of limes.
