Im trying to arrange a surprise for an old friend who is going through a bit of a rough time. I want to send him a tray of muffins or cakes to his work but he is diabetic. Anyone know of a good company i can use to send these? Had a quick look on internet but cant seem to find any companies that deliver and who offer diabetic products. thanks!

My daughter is a diabetic and has been since she was 2, she's now an adult.
Things have changed so much in the intervening years that she more or less eats the same as someone who isn't a diabetic. Modern insulin regimes have done much to free the diabetic from weighing out foods, calculating carbs - though there is a regime that counts carbs and matches it to insulin - there is a great variety of sugar free/low sugar/low fat alternatives out there these days that it should be possible for you to send your friend a nice treat, and providing your friend doesn't eat a whole tray of muffins or cakes they should be able to enjoy a nice treat. What a nice friend you must be to try to not only cheer up a friend but to take into account their health requirements.
