The one I want to make is choc ice-cream with cracked black pepper; they say that is fab too.....

I don't bother both with fondants as I know I'll balls them up, if I want a really chocolatey pudding, I'll go for Nigella Lawsons one from Domestic Goddess, it's wonderful.

What recipe did you use Tinks?

My ovens not a fan one either but I've always found with the recipe I use for the if I follow it to the ounce and time it exactly (gives conventional oven times too) they come out just right.
Stalled a bit tinks, need to get me arse in gear, summers coming up and simple cotton dresses are on the to do list.

I bought Sewing For Dummies fom Amazon, about a tenner, it seems to be very good. If you can get yourself on a course do so, colleges have stopped doing them round here but I have noticed that the sewing machine shop in the next town along does them occassionally so I'm going to try in there.

My husband makes beautiful ones. Infact last night he made 10 to take to our daugthers for pudding. Our grandchildren loved them.......... Infact I think it was the best he has ever made. What oven temp did you do them on.. we havent got a fan one either.
Question Author
180 lilac xx
Ok we cook them on 200, as we do not have a fan. Wait until it comes away from the side and feels firm in the middle. Try putting a knife in the top ( as when you turn them out it will be the bottom so will not matter.) to see how it is setting. then you can put back in if too wet for you. Also which chocolate do you use? My husband has tried milk, uck it isnt nice as very pale and sweet. This time I bought a bar of Belguin choc in asda , on the cooking section. They where really nice. hope this helps. xx
