Spreading Guinness on your toast makes it rather soggy.

Lol mike, apart from drinking it, seen it used in stews and even cakes orrid
Properly served, draught Guinness is absolute heaven.
I don't mind Guinness.
I make a lovely Guinness punch, with milk, egg and a touch of rum.

In my drinking day I would drink anything, but I wouldn't drink that.
I had my first taste of Guinness last year, and it was the real stuff. I really liked it. Drunk my boyfriend under the table. Regretted it the next day.
Think it's subversive like marmite.... take your mouth off it & it takes over the world, i.e pies, drinks, holidays (St.Patricks Day), pubs (3-4 varieties on bar tops)...... :-)

I love Guinness.. Best drunk in Dublin with a few Irish fiddlers doing their stuff
A dark red beer, creamy, full of subtle tastes. If Carlsberg made a dark stout it would probably be a pale imitation of Guinness. :-)
Draught Guinness is quite different to bottled Guinness, which I rather like. Unfortunately you rarely see the bottled variety in bars these days, only in supermarkets.

What about "Mackesons Stout" never seen that for years.

I think Ena Sharples and her chums drank up all the Mackesons.
I once had a fantastic book called The Mackeson Book of Averages.
