trying to cook in my fan assisted oven i noticed although inside the air is hot like its supposed to be, theres also cold air blowing out of the top of the oven door... but it was strong enough to trick me into thinking it was some kinda cold wind...

id guess some kinda seal broken but its strange how with the door closed you can feel this cold air blowing out very obviously, yet, open the door, and theres the nice hot air - so guess my pie should still cook :P

whats happening here? is it the fan element broken?

There is a separate cold airflow blown through the door between the two glass layers to keep the temperature of the outer glass panel below the levels permitted in the appropriate European Standards

thanks oldbillbuck but i was aware of this anyway - however today for some reason this air flow is "alot" stronger than normal - strong enough to be obvious sitting opposite it at the table, where i noticed it on my feet, and confused it for a cold breeze.

is there something that could go wrong that would make the cold airflow stronger than normal?
my one has the same problem, some days it seems to blow loads of cold air, then other days its not noticeable. strange.
