Please help. I usually grow my potatoes in a lovely old dolly tub. I was just taking the top bit of compost out and I found some of last year's potatoes - all rotten of course. My question is, do you think I can still use that compost or will it be bad? Also, if you grow your potatoes in a container do YOU use fresh compost each year? Thank you.
