Convection cooking in a combination oven.

I've only ever used my combination oven in the microwave mode. My old combination oven had a round enamelled tray to put on top of the glass turntable when it was being Used as a convection oven but my present oven is without such a tray. Is it really safe to use the convection oven facility with the glass turntable and plastic roller ring in place. The oven manual doesn't say to remove them.

yes perfectly ok mine is like that and I use it all the time. So handy to use rather than the large oven.
