We're having a party tonight, so doing food for tonight so we'll scoff ourselves sick on that later.

It's a meat-free household here tonight for Good Friday so we are having seafood linguine with prawns, scallops, clams and squid.

My famous main course cauliflower cheese, made with onion and spiced up with mustard, worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper etc and with a crunchy cheese and breadcrumb topping over a layer of tomatoes.

Oh, right so this isn't something you make, you just buy from the takeaway? I ask because I sometimes see lemongrass in recipes but don't know where to buy it from.

Coccinelle, you will find lemongrass in the veg section of the supermarket. It is usually next to the garlic and chillies.

Tonight it's homemade pizza, if the dough rises - it's looking very sluggish at the moment.

We had something similar to your fishy noodles last night but we had sliced, rare steak, it was more of a laksa than a stir fry though. It was delish!

I'm having smoked salmon salad. I'm hopeless at cooking salad. No matter how I try to boil the lettuce it never turns out quite right.
