Another nice one... toast both sides of the bread as before grate stilton and cheddar and mix with garlic mayo to a paste spread on the bread and grill til bubbly this goes really well with apple and walnuts
I toast it in the toaster but do it slightly under done. Spread the toast with a little bit of mayo, some dribbles of BBQ sauce...add cheese, then melt in the grill. Then I add finely chopped raw onion.
Any bread and any cheese (but I prefer Edam or Emmental - less greasy gobules of fat on it than say, cheddar)
Bread done in the toaster first, then the cheese...and anchovies... and then bung it under the grill
I make toast in the toaster, put marg on it then thick slices of cathedral city cheese. Sprinkle on some lea and perrins and pop it under the (gas) grill till melted! Yummmm!!
