starter. a little really good smoked salmon and a glass of champagne
main. Fillet steak rare, a few decent fries, grilled tomato.
dessert. Home made mango ginger icecream.
coffee and a liqueur.
roasted scallops, black pudding, a jus with a salad of samphire and rocket
Rack of Lamb (rare) with Pommes au Gratin and Frecnh green beans, perhaps a beetroot or parsnip mousse.
A selection of cheeses with brown Irish soda (sugar bread): stilton, roquefort, cendré goats cheese, Vacherin and a good Tomme or Pujbol.

And a bottle of 1966 Chateau le Pin, as to the scallops, a Montrachet 1970.
If I was to have a dessert, my own Pavlova.....

leave the drinks out people. i did say excluding drinks
Not as sophisticated as DTC's but can I forgo the starter and main and jump straight to pud which would be Liv Tyler covered in honey.
With or without the elf-ears, snags.............or won't you be much interested in her ears? LoL
Fois Gras

Steak Tartare

Vanilla Ice Cream
first course- ribs
main- chicken
dessert- chocolate tools or white mice
Question Author
jogger. i've never had fois gras, but as a pate lover i'm sure i'd love it
Must all be perfect of course:
melon and parma ham (avocado with prawn if my 2nd wasn't shellfish)
A whole cold lobster with a seafood sauce and french bread
home made vanilla ice cream with a hot chocolate sauce.
Yes, but not the pate de fois gras ...

Just a lightly seared lump of fois gras.
Scallops.

Duck breast (pink)

Cheese board with grapes and apples.
Starter: Seafood Cocktail
Main: Beef Wellington
Desert: Creme Brulee
If the seasons don't spoil my fun I'd go for....

English asparagus, served with herb butter.

Steak, frites & bearnaise sauce, green beans, spinach or salad to accompany.

Fresh local raspberries

And a cheeky extra a plate of local cheese with crackers and chutney.
Come Dine with me .....Scores

Excelsior.........7 would have been higher but alcohol not included

Woolfgang.......7 don't like mango

DT..................8 nice menu don't like scallops, or the cheeses

Snags..............5 only went for the pudding

Jack..................9 for the entertainment
ooops...sorry everyone else...you were'nt there at the time!
I thought Liv Tyler would have a reasonable amount of meat, chi-chi
Stater: Potato soup with bacon and chives
Main: marinated fillet of beef with seasonal veg
Pud. rice pudding with Bailey's
Can I come to DT's please, but I'll have a lemon sorbet instead of the cheese?
DT.........possibly, but not to my tastebuds....so score stays!! ;-))
