Years ago we all used thermos flasks with the glass inserts. But these were easily broken and so we now use the stainless steel versions.
But I just don't think they keep drinks hot enough, for long enough.
On ebay, and other places, they are advertising stainless steel flasks that keep things hot for 24 hours, but they are expensive. Does anyone have any experience of these so-called super flasks and are they worth the money ? Also what do people think is better...the old glass inserts, or the ordinary stainless steel ones ?
The main problem with stainless is that you need to get the whole inner liner really hot before you put your drink in - otherwise you start off with contents that have already been cooled quite a bit by the cold metal.
