Depends.
Shellfish, no. Anything else, if it looks, smells, tastes okay I'll eat it.
If a product looks okay I'll use it.
If we are talking food then yes (except fish/meat) so long as it's not 'too' out of date.
Yep, I have eyes and a nose.

If i smells or is wearing a fur coat then I bin it otherwise I eat it.
All the time.
yes..
Yes, I do like the others do ....what we did before foodstuff was dated.
If they smell OK, they're probably OK.
No never!! I bin it!
If it looks and smells OK then it is usually OK. I would be careful with shellfish or mayonaise, hollandaise etc. though.
not if it was meat fish or dairy.
No never eat out of date stuff, the dates are there for a purpose. Some of the food was made 6 months ago and contains preservatives that only last for so long under refrigeration. Thats how I think about it imho.
Yes, most of the time. The only time I won't is with pre-packed shellfish or chicken. Otherwise, if it looks OK (and particularly if the cats will eat a sample), use by dates are just a racket to get you to throw food away.
We used to try it on the cats and if they ate it then it was OK. Sadly we lost them in the last year so I will have to use OH instead!!
If it looks OK and it smells OK then I'll eat it, that's why we have senses.
Have just eaten half a frozen jam rolly poly with a best before date of august 2004.
So yes, I would use out of date products, there's far too much emphasis on useby/best before dates which encourages ridiculous amounts of food waste.
Well it says 'Best Before' not 'Poisonous After', so yes I do.

There is a difference between the 'Best Before' and 'Use By'. I think 'use by' is used more on dairy/meat/fish etc.

But even then, if it looks and smells ok, then I'd use it
