Suggestions for preferably warm, party/buffet food, for approx 15 people. Not chilli, curry or lasagne. Happy to have some salads amd garlic bread with it.

Thank you.

Not fancy at all, but my cousin served bacon rolls at his wedding reception and they were extremely popular. They were all gone within about 20 minutes as opposed to the usual table full of sandwiches whicb lie there for hours.
Do you want a fork buffet or finger food?
Potato Wedges & dips
lol i was going to suggest hot dogs - proper nice sausages, diff types, big pan of onions
also kebabs you can do meat/vegtable , service with salad and warm pitta's
few sauces on the table
job done
What is the occasion? What is the age range of the guests? Why do you object to chilli/curry/lasagne - is it the ubiquity or something else?
Chunks of grilled halloumi
panfried chicken goujons with a chilli glaze
really good sausages and crusty baguettes
mini pizza
little cones of chips
posh fish finger sandwiches sole goujons in a decent bap with ketchup or mayo
small yorkshire puddings with a cocktail sausage in each one
Jaysus, am I hungry after reading that rowan.
aha - ^^^ the 'small party' ^^^ has arrived :)
Oi ^^^^
Also... italian fritters ( a bit like bhajis but have basil, tomato, chopped olives and parmesan in the mix with the onions and no indian spices)

A whole poached salmon with baby new potatoes

asstd breads with different dipping oils...platters of olives salami and mozzarella

Falafel and houmous
Rowan is on a (bread) roll.

That's a banquet, Rowan......

Coronation chicken - jazzed up with some spices.......new potato salad with apple (cook spuds and then drain and let them cool in a pre-salad mix of basalmic, mustard, syrup, herbs and pepper. Mix in half Hellmans half yoghurt....and a green salad.

Thanks for all answers so far. 4 young ones aged 6-14.Rest adults. Fork rather than finger food. Only reason not to have chilli, curry etc as it always seems to be "same old, same old!" Had thought of making pizzas, to go with salads and garlic bread so it would be handy to help yourself, but am open to all suggestions .
Thanks

Appreciate
nursery food might appeal to the adults so proper fish finger sandwiches mini hot dogs in mini rolls mini burgers, mini jacket spuds... bowls of wedges and oven chips thenextra for the grown ups garlic feast bread, and platter of spicier nibbles

The occasion for the "small party" (lol sunny-dave) is a get-together, so relaxed and good craic with the odd wee drinkie to boot!!
How about a chicken and apricot tagine, a squash and chickpea tagine, jewelled couscous and a turkish spoon salad (chopped cue, onion, tomato, pepper, herbs).

Can be prepared in advance and can be reheated when needed and can easily keep warm.

Pizza is a great idea but will need you to be running to the oven every 12 mins.

I'll be trying out a few of your suggestions before the night, so thank you all for your great ideas. Really very helpful -- except that I'm now really hungry! : )
A nice warming stew or casserole or hotpot would be nice, especially in this crap weather, with some crusty bread and maybe dumplings for stew (I'm biased against these as don't like them haha).

I know what you mean, it feels like the middle of winter, rain, wind, cold, BBQ rusting away outside..... summer!!!
You can do wonders with puff pastry. Sausage plait is popular, hot or cold. YOu can also do a nice puff pastry with cheese and ham, cheese and onion, cheese and cranberry (with brie). In case you don't like cheese you can go with ham and tomato, chicken with pesto. The list is endless. Make a square of pastry about 6" in size, spoon of whatever in the middle. Fold over so the four corners meet and seal with egg yolk. Cook as if sausage roll. Stampede.....expect one!
