And by cheap I mean under 20 - 30 a head and a reasonably priced wine list.

I've found deals where the meals are great value, but the wine is ridiculously expensive.

Any suggestions?

This contemporary Turkish restaurant near London Bridge is great. Not too expensive and a little bit different. Have been a few times and the quality & variety was excellent.

Carluccios is surprsingly cheap and the food is excellent. You could easily get a pizza/pasta dish for under 8 and the mixed breads as a starter are amazing dipped in olive oil...
