Unusual wedding cakes

Saw a wedding cake yesterday which, instead of the usual pillars, had champagne flutes separating the tiers. The cakes were on glass trays instead of silver boards and the effect was lovely. Simple but different.

our wedding cake was in the shape of a bell and the lady who made it had threaded thin blue ribbon all through the icing on the cake it really was a shame to cut the cake.
