I am posting early this week as I really need some inspiration. I don't want to do a roast dinner and don't want to cook fillet steak or rack of lamb as I have done those recently.
What's on your menu today and what do you suggest I whip up for lunch?
I had some lovely garlic buttered carrots and samphire last night, so would like to do those as a side.
I am having Roast Pork. It is roasting slowing as I want to create the dish pulled pork. Never done it before but had it and it is nice also seeing on CDWM yesterday made me want to try cooking it.
Bang goes the the diet today I will have a lot to confess to on our Onwards and Downwards on Wednesday .Going out for carvery dinner with family. It's not the dinner that is the problem it is the Eton Mess that just manages somehow to sit in front of me.
this is not us today, but what about sausage and buttery mash, with lots of homemade gravy, it's a fabulous way to not cook much, but have a great feast. Followed by some lemon marscapone cheesecake..
No Mercy have you ever tried cinnamon carrots. Never had them till I got that tip from Xstitcher. Just a teaspoon of cinammon when boiling . Never tried them roasted with it.
No good asking me NoM. Been her a year and haven`t worked out how to light the top oven. I can destroy a frozen pizza. Can prick and ping though. Just wanted to say Hi and I adore samphire. x
