What are you cooking tonight?

I am pushing the boat out tonight. First course is a layered starter of guacamole, garlic and herb buttered king prawns and baby squid and wasabi creme fraiche on a bed of lamb's lettuce, followed by fillet steak.

Yesterdays left over lamb in a stew in the slow cooker. I'm baking a sponge cake for afters too.

Will probably be a wood-pizza here tonight washed down with some "Opportunist" Sauv B/Semillion my vino shop recommended, I am still on the hunt for the wine last week, which was by the way an Allegory from Howard Park in WA....not what I said. It has more depth in flavour on the nose and the tongue than the Opportunist, so rich in tones of grapefruit, melon and passionfruit.

Don't like dessert, DT. I do have some lime and coconut icecream in the freezer though...
B00 mine is just fish, sauce, very thinly sliced leek and carrot and some asparagus! Nowt fancy there! lol
I'm not either - though I have a major weakness for Pavlova and raspberries. Otherwise some good cheese (before any dessert).
Liars, you'll all be eating dairy lea on toast ;o)

Vodka... I just adore Seabass. Unfortunately Sainsburys were stocking some very.poor specimens.
I'm off to watch batman and will probably get a maccy d's on way back (drive thru of course)

I don't get my fish from the supermarket anymore NoM. I've had some baddies myself! My brother has an organic meat, fish and veg company and I get it from him.
