I am thinking of making sausage casserole when we get home, just out of a packet, but yummy with some mashed tatties fit fine!!!

We haven't even had breakfast yet! and it's too hot here for casserole, we're probably having salmon salad (that's what's in the fridge)
What The Funicular is a sausage casserole out of a packet?
You add gravy goop from the packet to sausages, MT....
I'm planning on doing a batch cook for the freezer this afternoon, after I've watched the mens marathon and before the Olympics closing ceremony. So it'll be comfort food for us - Shepherdess Pie, Lentil and Leek Bake, or something like that. Hoping to have enough runner beans from the garden to go with it.
what's shepherdess pie, maidup - what's different from shepherd's?
I'm off to Hove later to see some cousins and they have a chippie. Looks like fish & chips tonight. Don't know how my stomach is going to cope with it though.

It's actually quite overcast here in north east Scotland, so sausage casserole will do just the trick for us! Yes I know out of a packet, however it tastes surprisingly good if you add some fresh herbs and stuff......

Shepherdess pie sounds good! What is it? Lol

Oh sorry missed that post, vegetarian, ah got it now!
Sunday Roast for us - Roast Chicken with mashed and roast potatoes, carrots and cauliflower cheese. Followed by creme brulee. Yum Yum Yum
chicken wraps and salad,have some chicken soup as well.
Roast pork and crackling

Roasted veg (carrots, onions, peppers, shrooms, broccoli, cauli, courgette. leeks)

Boiled new potatoes which are then slightly smashed up, drizzled with olive oil, covered in herbs and then roasted until crispy.

Onion gravy
Half a tin of Lentil soup,and half a jacket potato.
Chicken Burgers and Salad - was good :)
lasagne, salad and a lashing of red wine for this forthcoming ceremony.
Burger at the pub I think & a pint or two of Old Knob Wobbler whilst listening to my postie's band - can just hear them starting their first set now ...
It was really hot here so we had a BBQ. Sticky chicken , sausages, salad, home made burgers and potato salad with my own potatoes and chives,yummmmm...
