What's the best way to make tasty crutons without burning them?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Put the bread cubes (about 1cm or half inch) in a bowl. Stir in enough olive oil to get them lightly coated. Season with black pepper/and or salt. Spread out on a baking tray and cook for ten minutes in a hot oven but keep an eye on them so that they don'y burn. Delia's recipe off the top of my head but it's on her website.
