I don't call it supper, but for my tea I had chicken, courgettes, baked spud & green beans (the squeaky variety), followed by syrup sponge cake from Iceland.
I'm not having anything, I really can't be bothered to eat tonight.
ooh Kat, you should always try a little bit of something.
FrillyPancake are you having a pud?
I'm stressed out and my appetite just disappears, I feel sick with it to be honest.
Prawn and avocado salad.

Maybe a G&T and a few nuts before hand.
Extremely unhealthy tonight..................cumberland sausages, fried onions, chips, and peas.
I was going to make a chicken curry but the chicken ended up in the bin as it smelt funny. My brother is round so we've ordered Thai.
we are trying a recipe from the internet radio or Come Dine with Me o/h not sure where he got it from., chicken stuffed with a mixture of lots of fresh herbs from the garden, chopped onions and feta cheese all blended in the blender and stuffed in the chicken and a honey & mustard glaze on the outside with runner beans & marrow also from the garden and roast spuds get another hour to go, smells good.Just going to have a vodka & sprite whilst I wait. Happy eating everyone and kat pls try a little something dont go to bed on am empty tum.
Chilli dogs
I am with my Alzheimers mater and she has just served raw salmon in a cold watercress sauce, forgetting to bake it............Aaaaaagh.

Well it's gone back in to go in the Aga!
Oh DT, poor you. I shouldn't laugh but ... :-)
I just finished making some cream of celery soup (slightly curried). So, we'll have that and some pizza...after I return from the bar of course. Cheers!
Its happened before, ladybirder...

Then there was the time with the catfood as she thought one of those sachets was pâté....!
They may be seeing me in the pub too shortly.
pizza here.

gawd luv ya ((dt)), deffo pub x
DT, your Mater may well be bereft of the odd marble but she still has class. I will politely ignore the cat food episode.........

My father would start cooking and completely forget until the neigbours or firemen came a'knocking......
I'm still rofl over dt and the cat food, sorry I really am. But I bet it was classy stuff.

Op, I think you've also opened up the is it called tea/dinner/supper? debate.
Yes, that debate does keep on coming up for a good chew on: breakfast, dinner, supper.
Every time someones asks this question, I always seem to be having spaghetti bolognese.
I'm tired of steak, smoked salmon, mussels and prawns.
supper here as it's in front of the goggle-box; dinner involves a table, chairs, candles and settings; afternoon tea up to 6pm. Luncheon between 12 and 2pm, Breakfast before 8.30am and Brunch anytime between 8.30 and Lunch.

There is of course "Lute" - a combo of Lunch and Tea.
