Andrew Peace Estate Collection Grenache Shiraz 2011 Vintage Reserve 14.5%

A full-bodied dry red wine with gorgeous aromas of red berries, leading to flavours of raspberries, cherries and an intriguing smoky twist on the palate. This wine has great depth but is soft and silky an would partner well with pasta dishes, roast meats and sausages.

Available in Morrisons for the normal price of £6.99.

Anyone got any nice wines in stock this weekend?
For those of us who are not wine afinicionados, the new Sol Spanish red in a tetrapack carton from Morrisons - £4.59 - is perfectly palatable. Tetrapak wine's a brilliant invention for picnics, bring your owns, etc!
I had a Care (Spanish) Grenache (£11.75), their Grenache Syrah (£6-50) and A Temperanillo/Merlot (£8-50) and the latter was the really delish one, another bottle sitting here but I am going out for some lovely slow-roasted pork and rosemary infused fondants at my local in 10 minutes!
Hi NoMercy !
Nothing particularly outstanding but bought
Cape Nelson (S.African) Semillon/Chardonnay 13%
and Cape Nelson Shiraz/Cabernet 14%
3 for £12-00 for each one @ Sainsbury's yesterday
Have yet to try them but seem OK !
Hope you are well and hope to see you next week at Birmingham Beer Festival.
Rowan and I will be there both Friday and Saturday 11am-17.00pm on both days ! :-))

Thanks for the info, Boxy, I'm sure many will be pleased to sample that.

DT...I haven't had Spanish wine in ages - must try one of those.

Red, I'll be there on Saturday. Thanks for the info about the special offers. Let us know if you see any more! :)
hi nm from madrid, i´m now sampling as many wines as poss, didnt really bother before, then just recently realised there are some cracking wines out there. My fave at the mo, is the ribera dueros, the good ones start at around 5.50 euros imo.
