How do I make fondant icing please?

No, DT I'm sure it is fondant icing, but not that runny stuff they did on Bake Off. Maybe I just add more icing sugar than they did so I can roll it!

fondant can be used but it would need to be stiff - but easier is to pipe it onto the top of the cake.

I know it would be easier, but my plan needs icing that can be rolled. Thanks for your help though.

Fondant icing can be worked into a "dough" and can be rolled out.

I'm sure it will be very tasty, tenrec. Just control your water on the fondant to get the stiffness you want, that's why it is so versatile. Off out to the pub now! Happy cooking.
