Whats for lunch????

Suppose its time for somebody to ask this.....

I am going to treat myself to a sandwich and soup from Philpotts as I have been eating noodles and beans on toast from home all week to save a bit of money.

Then, I have a packet of Crunch Creams which I will much on with a brew at my desk!!

your pond must be quite big then Grass ?..I had nowt but touble with the herons with mine...filled it in in the end !!

the sweetcorn thread is one of my all time favorite threads, along with clannads description of marmite

its a shame about the grasscarp i was getting some wonderful images come through

My pond is quite deep rather than wide. I keep a net over it. When I came to live in current house there was the pond with five fish in it. One day I had it cleaned and the person who did it found a sixth fish and said "You've got a grass carp here" - it was large and dark. This fish later disappeared and the fifth fish, which was a Koi also died. Now have four fish and they are still going strong 6 years later.

Well the sandwich was delightful.... Turkey, crispy bacon, stuffing and cranberry and then potato and leek soup. It really is a cut above for sandwiches that place! However cant do it every day £5.20 for soup and a sandwich but bloomin tasty.

Now let that settle, do a bit of work and tea with crunch creams at 2pm, then an added bonus, an early finish! Home for a beer or two and the Liverpool match on ITV 4!! Ive just realised, today is a very good day!
