My lot love this:
Sausage and veg roast
Quickly brown sausages and put in a large roasting tin with varying amounts of veg you'll think they'll eat: thickly sliced peppers, mushrooms, onion, courgette, leek, celery - etc, add 1/2 pint of stock some crushed garlic and some herbs - rosemary or sage is nice, season and cook for 1/2 an hour.
Herby Sausage and Tomato Casserole
Cook sausages, cut each into 4 and use a jar of pasta sauce or make your own using tinned toms and puree, herbs etc add sliced fried onions and garlic, mushrooms serve with mash or pasta
