Microsoft Word and Excel Starter 2010

I have had my HP computer for a couple of years and have been happy using the above programme not feeling the necessity to purchase the full programme. Suddenly these are no longer available to me. Is it because I have got to some sort of expiry time although there was no prior notice. Any ideas please anyone.

Hi flobadob, they were pre-loaded. Just clicked on the icon.

On your desktop? Perhaps they are still there but the icon/shortcut has been deleted. Go to Programs and Office and see if they are in there.

Thanks for your answers, amazingly I tried the icons one more time before calling a friend, and both programmes are back and working after not opening for some days. The only change has been the downloading of some Windows Updates ??
