I have the long awaited luxury of a few days of not working.

I am trying to decide whch is the most attractive prospect or the most desirable combo:-

Sleep
Cook for the freezer
Go Christmas shopping
Sleep
Catch up on overdue admin
Meet friends for lunch
Watch crappy TV
Do a spot of DIY around the house
Tidy my wardrobes
Get wasted on the aged contents of the wine rack before restocking and consequently forgetting much of the list above?

What would you do with a few days down time?

Sleep
not plan anything and see what happens
I don't need much sleep.
Cooking for the freezer doesn't really appeal.
I haven't shopped for Christmas for many years.
Overdue admin isn't good.
Meeting friends for lunch sounds like an excellent idea.
Why not watch educational TV rather than crappy TV?
DIY is on my list for the silly season too, specifically shelves in the study.
Wardrobes? Plural?
Attacking the wine rack also sounds good...
drinking and sleeping and then drinking and...........
sleep
watch crappy TV
Plan all the worthwhile things I'd do next time I have a few days off

I've been really fancying a bowl of chilli or a curry and as neither can efficiently be made in single portions, freezer filling will satisfy the current and any future cravings.

Overdue admin isn't good but I really do like Methyl's approach.

Meeting friends for lunch will occur hopefully twice this week and hopefully again next week if I can round up some friends.

Watching educationl TV makes me think of OU programmes, ot necessarily bad but car crash TV is a satisfying detox after a hectic period.

I have 3 wardrobes.....plus drawers.......and they are in a sorry state......

I might just relocate the wine rack to the bedroom and alternately sleep and imbibe :-)
Why not spend them talking inane rubbish on a website. Seems to work for some.
I'm sure EC wouldn't presume to encroach upon your territorial imperative...
I liked that, MR

Sadly my typing goes to rats when I've been drinking so it would be inane and unintelligible rubbish that I would share.

Come to think of it, who would tell the difference?
