What's it called???

I was at work the other day and the chef started cooking a mixture of scrambled egg, new potatoes, onion and garlic. It all went into the oven to cook. Unfotunately he left before I could ask what it was. Anyone know what this is and have an exact recipe so I can try to recreate it?

Sounds a little bit like a fritata (sp?) although that's like a thick omelette - nice though!

That is basically your Spanish Omelette or Tortilla (which, as Sasha13 writes, is synonymous with an Italian Omelette or Frittata).

yeah i agree with sasha13. i think it sounds like a fritata too. they usually have sliced potato etc in, they are very nice! :^)
