Just Had A Lovely Surprise! The Doorbell Went

and there was a man holding a huge box addressed to me. got to tell somebody and I can't tell hubby as he's in a meeting all afternoon so I thought I'd tell my fellow Aber's.

I've won a hamper full of goodies for Christmas! Got to open it and have a look see

There' some brillant stuff here - good names, Taylor's Late bottled vintage port, Cropwell Bishop stilton in a stone jar, Bendick's mint assortment, whole grain mustard, two pate's and Ardennes and a Brussels, melba toasts, biscuits for cheese, oatcakes, wholegrain mustard - this is great - this was the sort of stuff I was going to buy this week!
What else have we got - Stuffed green olives - mmm the big black Greek ones too, luxury nut assortment (brazils, macadamia, pistachio and cashews) My hubby will see those off smartish! Cranberry sauce with port and orange .
There's more, a chestnut stuffing mix and an organic herb one with shallots. Baxters Beetroot, Apple and Horseradish chutney, mince pies a Christmas cake, stollen and a tin of mini panettone.

all come round mine for a big Boxing day party! I'm assuming it's a raffle prize - I'm always a pushover at work, Help the Aged, air ambulance, Cancer research, local church, local schools etc

I've just tasted the Baxter's Chutney - it sounded unusual - Beetroot, apple and Horseradish - and it' really yummy - go lovely with cheese
