I'm going on a 4 day walking trip in North Wales and don't have any idea what to take to eat.  I have the basics ~ expedition meals, cuppa soups, that kind of thing, but I'm stuck for things to eat for breakfast and lunch.  Any ideas are appreciated!

Tinned potatoes and supa noodles are lovely, and theres the obvious......Pot Noodles!
Pot noodles are good because when you've eaten the noodles you've still got a pot to p*ss in.
Love reading your postings Mr Head- guaranteed a giggle~thanks :)
The most important thing to remember is not too weigh yourself down if your rucksack weighs 60 pounds you will not enjoy the walk.

Take stuff like ready brek and powdered milk weighs next to nothing and makes a filling nutritious breakfast.

pot noodles are tasty and lightweight

bread for sandwiches that kind of thing.

Alternatively if you want meals of tins of stewed steak with tinned new potatoes and tinned peas three times a day then make sure you take a mule along to carry it.

THINK LIGHT.

Yay thanks all, love the idea Richard heehee

Lasted five days on soya beef. If you're doing this take plenty of flavourings (herbs 'n' stuff) in empty camera film containers 'cos the stuff tastes like - well what you would put in Richard's pot.

Dehydrated pasta is good and quick. So's Mash spuds an' corned beef.
