Using Halogen Ovens

Just ordered one from Amazon anyone have experience using these?

The number of complaints I've seen about the lamp failing and difficulties over obtaining replacements, has put me off ever buying one.

I've had mine for about 5 years and it's fabulous. Still as good as the day I bought it and cooks the food in half the time of a conventional oven. Oh and it saves you money and stops you messing up your main oven. Win Win Win for me.

I'm with ladybirder...........I have 2 and use them both all the time....main oven now redundant!

I purchased one about 6 months ago. No complaints. Love the ability to just leave it to do its work and food is perfect every time.

Yes it does save energy because you are heating a smaller space that becomes instantly hot so it works quicker.
