Hi smow, have you any soup indoors, ? it can be seasoned and thickened up until it turns into gourmet sauce !!
Keep your fingers crossed when you say "beef" :-)

LOL khandro.

Yep I have various soups, tomatoes etc.
Soup, or tomatoes flavoured with worcester sauce, or brown hp thickened up with a little gravy browning , job done !! It does for emergencies .
Finely chop and onion-add to olive oil that's been heated, crush and mince 1-2 cloves of garlic..add to the onions when they are starting to soften.Stir for a minute or 2.
Add 2 tins chopped tomatoes,a tablespoon each chopped fresh basil, and Oregano-or 2 teaspoons each dried. A splash of red wine would not go amiss...let simmer for 20-30 minutes.
Or...to the softened onions and garlic, add some chopped bacon, sliced mushrooms and herbs. When they have picked up some colour, pour over 300ml double cream. Simmer till bubbling and pour over ravioli.
I pastafreak's suggestion,sounds yummy.Most of the time i can't be bothered to cook.

Thankyou for all of those suggestions very much!

Pasta - can you freeze that sauce?
Tin of baked beans - quick & easy...
I would do spicy tom sauce.

Baked beans?

Yep a spicy tom sauce would work well. I love pasta!
Meh - add some tabasco...
I bought some fresh ravioli type pasta today for OH's packed lunch tomorrow. I'm doing a spicy tom sauce.

I don't eat much pasta. I find it too filling...

I can't eat a very big portion, but its so quick to cook if you want a meal in a hurry.
Yes...you can definitely freeze it-so make double!
Also-add fresh or dried chillis to the onions/garlic for a basic spicy tomato sauce.
Other additions include finely chopped mixed peppers, black olives,or a dollop of pesto.
^^ I want to go and live at pasta's house
