Roll the in some olive oil and herbs maybe, some black pepper and salt, preferably proper stuff rather than the more everyday table/cooking stuff.

A nice dressing if you have any salad ones.

You could, if they are suitable, sautee them with some herbs in oil.
Or sautee in butter and garlic so they soak it up.
Use them to make a nice potato salad.
Fresh Potatoes ...............then throw the tinned potatoes away
If they're pre-cooked, just some relly good olive oil, loads of freshly chopped mint and some finely chopped garlic. That'll do it.
cheese?
may be a little late now - but i would cut them into quarters and drizzle some thai sweet chilli sauce over them - would go nice with the salmon too x
Forget cheese- I was thinking you were going to serve them warm but now realise it's for a salad

Many thanks for all replies abers. Much appreciated.

I normally always have jacket pots with cheese etc.
But I am using up food and have no potatoes as were away for one month.
Accasionally I have tin pots but just fancied a change in how they are being served. Much prefer real pots. I'd hate to have cold spuds with any meal.
i ended up earlier, having sprinkle of mixed herbs, butter.
Was delicious. Cheers agin to all you lovely people. x puss
