Too Much Tea
23 Answers
My boss is convinced that I'm making myself ill by drinking too much tea.
I drink 10-15 cups a day, normally with two sweeteners - splenda normally. (I know there are claimed health problems from sweeteners but it's either that or sugar and I prefer the taste of that).
Aside from tea all I ever drink is water. Hardly ever any fizzy drinks or alcohol. The occasional fruit juice.
So, is it really going to cause me any problems? Other people drink that much, plus.

I don't know what your job is but if you are spending all day drinking and peeing, I would have thought your Boss is entitled to query this.
I am not sure what the issue is here ? Yours Boss is paying you for a job of work, so isn't he allowed to look after his investment ?
Incidentally, why ARE you drinking so much ? Have you had a diabetes check from your GP ? I found myself drinking increasingly huge amounts of fluids a few years ago and subsiquently found that I had diabetes.

During work time its acceptable to take a tea break mid morning and mid afternoon. Maybe once more and of course a lunch break. I count say 4 cups there.
If you have 2 before work and 3 in the evening, I count 9. That's more that I drink, but not unusual I don't think. struggling to think where you fit in another 4 but if they are during work maybe the boss has a point!
