home again 'cross the tea.
I am sailing, maddy waters,
to be near you, to be free.
I am cooking, I am cooking,
like a bird 'cross the sky.
I am flying, passing high plates,
to be with you, to have a high tea.
Can you hear me, can you hear me
thro' the AB night, far away,
I am sighing, forever trying,
to be with you, who can say.
Can you hear me, can you hear me,
for Voddie's baking far away.
I am dying, forever trying,
to be with you, three cakes a day.
We are sailing, we are sailing,
home again 'cross the tea.
We are sailing maddy waters,
to be near you, champers free.
Oh Ed, to be near you, to be free.
Oh Ed, to be near you, to be free,
Oh Ed.
Not really as I want the cakes and the bubbly

Tea at the Ritz start at £40 each. Tea for 2 at the Savoy costs £96
At the Ritz you can up the price by including a birthday cake and a glass of Champagne
Both teas include a selection of dainty sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream and the finest little cakes served with teas or tisanes of your choice!

What about this for an afternoon tea experience. I visited Cliveden a couple of years ago ( only the National trust bit) and despite the prices they seemed to be doing brisk business.
