Cinema Advert - 1980S? - About South African Apartheid?
2 Answers
Weird childhood memory from around the mid-1980s probably, and can't find any mention of it on the net or anything on YouTube.
Does anyone recall a cinema advert (I only remember seeing it once, and never on television) from what was likely mid- to late-1980s which may have been something to do with boycotting of South African food products. The advert had two toddlers - one white and one black, I think - playing with apples or oranges. It was definitely a political advert / PFI of some kind and I would imagine it was something to do with the boycotting of fruit which happened during that period.
No-one I know can recall it, or my parents I went to the cinema with, so it's quickly turning into one of those weird things you start to wonder if you imagined!
