I want to make the above, but am thinking I'd need a fair few tomatoes to make a large batch. How many?

What about using organic tomatoes and then a jar (or half a jar) of organic passata? Would that work or would it be vile???

Thanks.

Ah ok, not as many tomatoes as I'd imagined, plus veg stock which will pad it out a bit.

Thanks :)
A friend gave me a recipe to make home made cider, he called it waggle. Ihave lost the paper he wrote it on, cant get in touch with him for a few months as he is on an oil rig being towed down to southern atlantic, would like to try it out, any help would be appreciated, 'thanks'

What's that got to do with soup? Was it organic cider?

If so, you can buy some really nice stuff from Waitrose/Asda (I've not found it anywhere else). It's called Westons Wyld Wood Vintage Organic Still Cider, and comes in a 3lt box (£7 approx) which is very, very nice.
