Visitors on the way, but not quite sure when they'll arrive.
So I'm doing a (very gently) Pot Roasted Brisket of Beef with root veg - to be served with french beans, shredded cabbage fried with some pine nuts, charlotte potatoes and chilli relish.
Sparkling Cider and some nice olives for an aperitif and then a couple of bottles of Averys Malbrontes with the beef.
What's tickling your tonsils?

I've always wondered about the way we use "nice" like that - as in shorthand for, "you'll like it" or "it'll be good for you." I mean, your mum never said "you've got a horrible pork chop/vile piece of haddock for tea," did she?
