what foods are good for the kidneys

or just in general i have heard good things about pomegranates and cranberrys

my g/f has got problem with her kidneys something to do with ketones in her urine - so something that may help with that - but just ideas of maybe unusual foods that are good for anything

all foods are is good for something in moderation. I would suggest that your GF take advice from the doc about her particular problem and diet.

Beetroot is considered a wonder food and is very good for you. as are lots of other foods

Coconut water is supposed to be good for the kidneys. That's coconut water, not coconut milk.

Do they know why there are ketones in her urine? (various causes to include diabetes and certain diets). That could make a difference about what foods could be good and suitable for her.
