I spent two Decembers working at Hotel Chocolate packing the Christmas orders, we got free choc's for break times and several boxes to take home. Once you have had them ordinary chocolate will just not do. It is like the difference between fine chateau bottled vintage wine and cheap supermarket plonk.
I've got my brother and his GF a Red Letter Day chocolate making experience for 2 for Xmas. Wish I was going :o(
EDDIE, where is / what is Hotel Chocolate ?.
Is it like a gingerbread house but made of chocolate and a hotel, instead of a house?

Where is it? I wanna go!

The dispatch centre is just up the road from me , they take on extra staff every December to cope with the orders.
Wow, thanks EDDIE, they look very nice indeed.
They are really nice but expensive.
They have choc's that are from individual cocoa harvests from specific estates, just like fine wine vintages. They have tasting notes in the same way as high quality wine.
Hotel Chocolat is very rich. You only need one or two pieces at a time. They are like individual works of art, but not my favourites.
Another vote for Lindt and Suchards.
Lindt (Lindor), or Elizabeth Shaw.
liquors (SP?) could make myself sick from 'em.
Guylian belgian chocs are to die for.
