Sugared Almonds

Anyone seen these about in the shops? I haven't see any about this year, they usually have them in the pound shops at least.

I love sugared almonds, but they're not as nice as the ones I bought from the lookee lookee man in Tunisia.

We have a little old fashioned sweet shop in Bedford. They sell them there. Is there a little sweet shop where you live, Eve?

I love them too, usually a Christmas treat for me and wanted to get some for my mum too.

There is Tilly, small but very expensive, US candy and such too, checked there Monday but no joy. My nearest John Lewis is in the Trafford Centre and usually avoid the place like the plague near Christmas - horror stories of 4 hours queues to get out and the like!

There is a little Waitrose down the other end of town though, will see if I can get down there :)

Wow, that looks great! I had to restrain myself the other day when I saw they had rainbow sherbert in the sweet shop I checked, I loved that stuff when I was little!
