If I wanted a sirloin steak medium how long would I cook it in a George Foreman grill?

depends how thick but the book says 7 minutes.

If you want steak medium then cook it for a bit less than the Foreman book says. I find it is overdone if you cook it the recommended time.

Of course, it all depends on thickness of the slice of meat!

It was a thin slice but I only put it in for 4 mins and it ended up being rubbery, the Foreman sucked all the life out of it!

Click here for a good website about Foreman grilling. It suggests very different timings from the booklet that comes with the grill and points out that all times given refer to items 25mm - ie 1 inch or the width across a man's thumb - thick. Clearly, anything thinner than that involves cutting times down, sometimes drastically! Practice makes perfect.
