What Do You Do With Sloppy Waste Food?

Drain it, and put it in a degradable bag in the food recycling bin. You should never put food down the toilet.

Just out of curiosity - why shouldn't you put food down the loo?

I don't have much food waste of any description, but what we do have goes into the council biodegradable bag and into thirteen bin for the council to collect

LyndaB, food can cause blockages in your sewerage pipes.

It blocks the pipes further down - especially if it has fatty deposits.
