M&s Valentines Meal Deal...

I was really surprised by the choice...we have opted for...

Salmon, prawn, crab and lobster moose wrapped in smoked salmon.
Rack of lamb with a herb crust.
Mixed veg (broccoli, carrots, courgettes, green beans)
Salted caramel profiteroles.
Box of chocolate hearts.
Bottle of pink cava....

£20...what a bargain, I might go back tomorrow :-)

Yep...

Two of the starter, 6 lamb cutlets on the rack, enough veg for more than two, 6 profiteroles and 5 chocolates.

We'll be having mash with it as well...

I got uppity when I saw that the Waitrose Meal Deal was promoting asparagus, I didn't take any notice of the rest of it.

We'll have curry tomorrow, probably a long way down the list of romantic meals!

There are no words to describe how chuffed I would be if Mr Cake went to M&S or Waitrose and bought one of their meal deals and then cooked and served it.

Hmmm, it's a bit late to drop hints now but I think I'll have to drop some for next year.

We've been to marks as well - we are having the same starter, but with steak and garlic mushrooms (looks like two lovely pieces of sirloin), followed by the heart shaped triple chocolate heaven, and of course the sparkling rose and the chocolates. Looks yum!

Enjoy Lyn....the steaks did look very nice, but so did the seabass....
